Do you believe in this? Well, art is one of the many ways that children express themselves. In Montessori, there is an emphasis on the art process rather than the final product. So being an artist doesn't have to be a picture your child creates. It could be a simple gluing or cutting task. By product we refer to the picture itself or art piece. Process over product is to give our attention mainly to the child's experience rather than to the picture.

This comprehensive self-paced course is divided into 5 main modules:

Module 1: Art preliminary lessons. In this module we will look at the basic fundamental skills that your child will need in most art projects. These skills will enhance the child's independence when working on their projects.

Module 2: Early drawing and painting exercises.

Module 3: Art studio and appreciation of art. We will start this module with the 7 main elements of art (color, line, shape, form, value, texture, and space). This is another example of how we start with the process. Then, we will move to ideas for projects to implement these elements.
