What is the MTA Coaching Program?

Our Montessori Coaching Program is designed specifically for homeschooling parents and teachers who are committed to providing an authentic Montessori education but are feeling overwhelmed or unsure about where to start. This program offers personalized, hands-on guidance, taking you step-by-step through the Montessori Method and practices, with a strong focus on the three foundational pillars of Montessori: the prepared environment, the prepared adult, and respecting the child.

This is not a self-paced program; it’s an intensive, interactive experience where we work together to create a thriving Montessori environment that suits the unique needs of your child or students. Enrollment is limited and only opens twice a year in September and February to ensure each participant receives the dedicated support they need. We will only be able to accept 20 members for each cohort at this time.

Montessori DOES NOT start with the materials, curriculum, scope and sequence, and all the things that you might be overwhelmed with. So does our coaching program.

Montessori starts with:

1- Learning how to remove obstacles from the environment that can hinder the child's natural development. Whether you choose Montessori or any other method, the environment is the key to make things work for the child.

2- Preparing ourselves as observers who are ready to learn from the child and being ready to go through a transformation to ensure we are not an obstacle for the child's natural development.

3- Respecting the child and their needs. We will also introduce you to our strengths-based approach which is part of a U.S nationwide initiative that we are leading through our new organization "Square 1 + Tech". Once you have a strengths-based mindset empowered by Montessori knowledge, you will be able to unlock your child's potential effortlessly.

We will help you master the three principles through....

Setting up authentic Montessori environment that unleashes the child's natural learning tendencies.

Preparing yourself as an adult through the Science of observation. You will learn how to use at least 5 different observation logs and create your own observation binder with both qualitative and quantitative data. You will need to let go of preconceptions.

Learning HOW to create your own system, rather than following a ready-made system is what makes our program unique!

Resourceful

Monthly LIVE community Zoom gathering to share best practices and celebrate our individual progress and milestones!

Lifetime access to the pre-recorded lectures, printable logs, trackers, work plans and more!

How the coaching program is structured

Our coaching program is thoughtfully divided into 5 comprehensive modules, each featuring at least one pre-recorded lecture designed to deepen your understanding of Montessori principles. The program includes a variety of logs, printables, and resources to support your journey.

Bi-Weekly Coaching Sessions

You will receive one-hour bi-weekly, one-on-one Zoom coaching sessions with Dina, where we will review your progress and outline the next steps. Before each session, you are required to update specific logs as part of your assignments. To maintain the integrity and value of the coaching process, sessions will be canceled if assignments are not completed on time.

Assignments and Practicum

The assignments are designed to be practical and reflective, focusing on essential Montessori practices. Examples of assignments include:

  • Observing a child and updating the observation log.
  • Practicing a specific lesson presentation and reflecting on the experience.
  • Completing reading assignments with reflective notes.
  • Preparing the learning environment in your space and submitting photos with summaries of what’s on the shelf.

Scope and Sequence Development

Throughout the program, you will progressively create and refine your own scope and sequence documents, tailored to your unique environment. By graduation, you will have a complete set of manuals featuring key Montessori lessons, reflecting the essential practicum phase found in any authentic Montessori training.
